DUBUQUE, Iowa—During Dupaco Community Credit Union’s 75th Annual Membership meeting held Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, Ellen Goodmann Miller, Jeff Gonner and Randy Skemp were re-elected to serve three-year terms on the credit union’s volunteer board of directors.

About the directors

Goodmann Miller has served on the Dupaco board since 2021. She is the community resource development specialist with Gronen in Dubuque. She also provides resource development, grant writing, strategic planning and political consulting services through Hawks Goodmann & Associates.

Gonner has been on the Dupaco board since 2009. He is the retired chief financial officer at Medical Associates Clinic and Health Plans in Dubuque.

Skemp joined the Dupaco board in 2003. He recently retired as the vice president of sales at Active Network, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas.

Following the membership meeting, the board of directors held its re-organizational meeting, at which these officer appointments were made:

  • Andy Schroeder, treasurer
  • Joe Hearn, president/CEO

  • Renee Poppe, chair, Credit/Delinquent Loan committee
  • Ron Meyers, chair, Marketing committee

As a member-owned, democratically controlled cooperative, all Dupaco members have an equal say in their credit union. Each member has one vote, no matter how much money she or he has in deposits or loans at Dupaco.
